Angela is an award-winning actor who has also developed a complementary career as an executive coach and leadership facilitator. Underpinning all her work is a passion to understand human behaviour, communicate and connect to others. She combines her acting and coaching skills to help people navigate this complex, perplexing world of human interaction, shine a light on their authentic selves and tell the stories they really want to tell.
Angela won Best Actor for her leading role in Howard J Ford’s action thriller ‘Never Let Go’ (Best Independent Film, UK National Film Awards) where she wowed audiences and critics alike with her “Oscar-worthy” “Powerhouse” performance of a single mother battling against the odds to rescue her kidnapped child. She also won Best Actor for her role as the victim of domestic violence in Marc Zammit’s ‘Homeless Ashes’.
Her latest role is in BAFTA supported feature ‘Our Kid’ directed by Sean Cronin with Ricky Thomlinson, Leanne Best and Connor McIntyre. Due for release in 2023 it is definitely one to watch out for.
Angela inadvertently ventured into script writing when she co-wrote her character’s storyline and dialogue in ‘The Lockdown Hauntings’ alongside the innovative director Howard J Ford. It was an insanely ambitious lockdown project shot at pace, with no crew, on a first draft basis. She was honoured to play the lead opposite horror legend Tony Todd and delighted that her words have been seen and heard globally on the small and big screen. She is currently writing her first feature film.
